Ikubese Emmanuel Ifeanyichukwu, best known as 9con is a Nigerian singer, actor, and model. His major breakthrough as an artist came when he joined the United States International University – Africa in Nairobi, Kenya where is currently a senior studying International Relations. He soon begun modeling and in no time, he had launched his musical career. Ikubese's love for music and entertainment started at a young age, performing in school events and in church. As a teenager, he joined several singing, acting and dancing groups. He received the Pop Idol award in university as well as the Best Singer award in the International Students Talent Show. 9con has done collaborations with big African acts like Timaya (Nigeria), Wyre (Kenya), Redsan (Kenya), and has also performed on the same stage as D'banj and several other African artists.
